Notes
This is a fully carved mandolin with a slightly deeper carved front and back. The soundboard is AA Swiss spruce 'moonwood' and the blackwood has particularly rich dark figure. It has a loud, sweet tone that is well balanced across all strings right up to the highest notes. The combination of the Swiss spruce 'moonwood' and the deep back makes it very resonant, producing a nice natural reverb and long sustain. It has a 31 mm wide nut and very comfortable neck so plays very easily.
